I. Instruments Principal Oboe – 1
II. Qualification Those who are judged by the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra to have artistic and personal qualifications as an orchestral principal player (regardless of age / nationality).
III. Process A. Pre-selection using documentation

B. Skills audition (1st and 2nd Rounds)

C. Interview

D. Try-out performance as an orchestral player (3rd Round)
… Those who pass A, B and C will be asked to play in the orchestra for 3 months as a trainee under a performance contract.

VI. How to apply A. Send resume with photo and detailed musical experience list by airmail to the address below.

B. If a non-Japanese resume, attach a typed resume with Japanese translation.

VII. Others A. Applicants must arrange for their own accompanist.

B. Only those who pass the 1st Round will advance to the 2nd Round.

C. Orchestra Excerpts will be sent to applicants who pass the pre-selection using documentation after the application deadline.
* An appointment date and time for the audition will be also specified then

D. Resumes will be disposed of properly after auditions.
